The Ola Electric scooter has quickly gained immense popularity across India, emerging as a favored choice among riders. With its eye-catching design and host of features, the Ola Electric scooter has captured the attention of a wide range of consumers.

There was a time when Ola was heavily criticized, with negative reviews over a few technical issues on the scooter. Over the period, the manufacturer has solved the issues, and currently, Ola is the number one electric two wheeler selling company in India.

Since the launch, we've seen several videos circulating online where people put the Ola electric scooter to the test, examining its endurance, speed, and range. Recently, one such video has surfaced over the internet where a YouTuber rides an e-scooter into the sea.

The YouTuber, who owns an Ola S1 Pro electric scooter, has shared a video on his YouTube channel, testing various aspects of the two wheeler. He starts with a drag race.

The first competitor is a Suzuki Burgman 125cc scooter, but it couldn't keep up with the Ola S1 Pro. Right from the start, the Ola scooter takes the lead and easily wins the race on the empty 400m stretch.

In the second round, the Ola scooter competes with a Yamaha R15 motorcycle, a high-performance bike. Both vehicles give each other tough competition, racing closely throughout the challenge. Ola S1 Pro clocked a top speed of 116km/h.

RE Himalayan was used for the next round. Even though the bike was in the lead for the major portion of the race, surprisingly, the Ola overtook the Himalayan and won the round.

Further, he took the Ola S1 Pro to test its range and uphill capabilities, in which the e-scooter completed the challenges with flying colors. The YouTuber got a range of 177km in a single charge and won the uphill battle in the Eco mode.

The final segment was the most challenging, as he took the scooter to a beach near his house and rode it directly into the salty seawater to see if it would still function. The scooter was completely submerged in the seawater.

But to the YouTuber's surprise, it worked without any issues, and the motor and batteries remained protected. Once the scooter was brought out of the water, he tested its different features, and to his delight, the speakers, headlights, touchscreen, and other electrical components were all functioning perfectly.

Thoughts On The Ola S1 Pro Durability Test Incident

This daring durability test highlights the exceptional build quality and water-resistant features of the Ola S1 Pro. The YouTuber pushed the scooter to its limits, submerging it in saltwater and subjecting it to the challenging beach environment,

However, whether the YouTuber is trained to handle vehicles in such situations is still being determined. Doing these kinds of tests requires years of practice, proper safety equipment, and a closed/controlled environment, as it can harm the lives of the rider and others.
