Updated Hero XPulse 200T Spied Ahead of Launch

Hero MotoCorp is readying an update for the road-biased variant of its XPulse motorcycle, the 200T. An image of the motorcycle reportedly participating in a television commercial shoot has emerged online which reveals some of the cosmetic updates to the motorcycle.

As per the image the headlamp appears to have been repositioned, now sitting a little lower than on the current model with a body-coloured visor now sitting above it. Additionally, the front fork now gets gaiters while the lower section is now features a darker finish as against silver on the current model. The alloy wheels though appear to remain unchanged.

Compared to the current model (pictured), the updated bike seems to get more blacked-out components and gaiters on the front fork.

Compared to the current model, the design updates seen in the image seems to add more visual mass to the bike up front. A closer look also reveals a black finish to the exhaust as well.

Coming to the mechanicals, there are still no confirmed details to any mechanical updates though the bike could get the 200cc four-valve engine form the XPulse 200 4V.  The current XPulse 200T uses the 2 valve, 17.8 bhp, 200cc, single-cylinder 4 stroke engine - the same as the standard XPulse 200.

Expect a slight bump in pricing at the time of launch of the updated XPulse 200T with the current model priced at Rs 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
