TVS-BMW Motorrad Complete 10 Years Of Partnership

TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad are celebrating a decade of their successful partnership. In this ten-year journey, both companies have achieved significant milestones, set new industry standards, and delivered quality motorcycles to customers worldwide. To commemorate this occasion, TVS Motor Company has also announced the production of the 150,000th unit of BMW Motorrad's 310cc series of motorcycles at its Hosur facility.

The partnership between TVS and BMW Motorrad has remained strong due to the shared values of quality, performance, and innovation. This collaboration has resulted in commendable achievements, further solidifying the strong relationship between the two companies. In December 2021, both companies further expanded their partnership, paving the way for the joint development of new platforms and future technologies, including electric vehicles. On that agreement, the production of the BMW CE 02 electric scooter has started at TVS' Hosur manufacturing plant, further strengthening the partnership.

In this last decade of partnership, the companies have designed and developed new platforms. Together, the two companies have introduced five motorcycles, the G 310 R, G 310 GS, and G 310 RR, under the BMW Motorrad banner, and the Apache RR 310 and recently launched Apache RTR 310, under TVS’ portfolio. This collaboration has fostered the exchange of technological expertise for both companies, resulting in advancements in engine technology, chassis design, and safety features.

Lastly, as a commitment to sustainability and to develop more environmentally friendly mobility solutions, TVS has been actively involved in the design and development of the BMW CE 02.
