TVS & Apollo Tyres Set New National Speed Endurance Record – 3658 Kilometres In 24 Hours

TVS Motor Company along with Apollo Tyres set a new Indian National Speed Endurance Record on a TVS Apache RR 310 motorcycle shod with Apollo Alpha H1 tyres. The partnership broke the previously held record of 3,141 kilometres.

The 24-hour endurance challenge taken by TVS Motor Company and Apollo Tyres saw the partnership covering 3657.92 kilometres in just 24 hours. The record-breaking run was achieved at the NATRAX test track in Indore.

Commenting on this milestone, Vimal Sumbly, Head Business - Premium at TVS Motor Company, said, "Setting a new benchmark in speed and endurance, the TVS Apache RR 310 and Apollo Tyres have defied all limits during the 24-hour speed endurance race that put the motorcycle through such a rigorous challenge."

Speaking about the record-setting run by TVS Motor Company and Apollo Tyres, the partnership managed to maintain an average speed of 152km/h at the NATRAX test track. In fact, the TVS Apache RR 310 managed to achieve a top speed of around 173km/h.

That being said, the TVS Apache RR 310 motorcycle is powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine in the TVS Apache RR 310 is tuned to push out 34bhp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm of peak torque at 7,700rpm.

To suit the sporty characteristics of the TVS Apache RR 310, the company has equipped the motorcycle with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. It is also worth mentioning that the TVS Apache RR 310 comes with multiple ride modes - Urban, Rain, Sport and Track.

In terms of hardware, the TVS Apache RR 310 uses a split chassis Trellis frame. Furthermore, the motorcycle also comes equipped with sophisticated USD forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear.
