Recently, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) launched the Honda Dio H-Smart scooter in India. As such, here are the top things you need to know about the newly launched Honda Dio H-Smart scooter.

Price

The newly launched Honda Dio H-Smart scooter is priced at Rs 77,712 (ex-showroom). However, the Honda Dio scooter range starts from Rs 70,211 (ex-showroom) for the Standard variant, while the Deluxe variant is priced at Rs 74,212 (ex-showroom).

Powertrain

The Honda Dio H-Smart continues to be powered by the same 109.51cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine now complies with the latest BS6 Phase 2 emission norms and puts out 7.65bhp and 9Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox.

Smart Features

We expect the Honda Dio H-Smart to come with a similar set of 'smart features' as other H-Smart scooters from Honda. This means the Honda Dia H-Smart is likely to come with features such as Smart Safe, Smart Unlock, Smart Start, and Smart Find.

Other Features

The newly launched Honda Dio H-Smart scooter will be equipped with features that are similar to the Honda Dio Sport. This includes features such as alloy wheels, LCD instrument cluster, LED headlamps, LED DRLs, external fuel filler cap, silent start system, start/stop function, side stand engine cut-off and more.

Hardware

The Honda Dio H-Smart is expected to feature the same hardware setup as the standard variant. This includes the likes of telescopic front suspension, bigger 12-inch wheels at the front, and 130mm drum brakes at both ends.
