The Indian two-wheeler market has witnessed tremendous growth in recent years. Also, two-wheeler manufacturers have spiced up the market with plenty of new launches as well. That being said, here are the top 5 two-wheeler manufacturers in India for the month of June 2023.

Hero (4,22,757 Units)

Hero Motocorp continues to dominate the Indian two-wheeler industry as it managed to sell 4,22,757 units of its two-wheelers in June 2023. Despite its strong sales performance, YoY sales for the company dipped by more than 8.7 per cent.

Honda (3,02,756 Units)

Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI) also managed to rack up some decent sales in the month of June 2023 by managing to sell 3,02,756 units of its two-wheelers. However, the Japanese two-wheeler giant's YoY sales slipped by almost 15 per cent.

TVS (2,35,833 Units)

TVS Motor has shown tremendous growth in recent months. The Hosur-based two-wheeler manufacturer managed to sell 2,35,833 units of its two-wheelers in June 2023 and increased its YoY sales figures as high as 22.1 per cent.

Bajaj (1,66,292 Units)

Thanks to new motorcycle launches, Bajaj has witnessed an YoY sales growth of almost 33 per cent for the month of June 2023. In terms of numbers, Bajaj managed to sell 1,66,292 units of its two-wheelers in June 2023.

Royal Enfield (67,495 Units)

The 350+cc motorcycle segment has increased exponentially in recent years and a majority of that credit goes to Royal Enfield. In June 2023, Royal Enfield managed to sell 67,495 units of its motorcycles and witnessed YoY sales increase of more than 34.2 per cent.

Thoughts About Two-Wheeler Sales In June 2023

The top 5 two-wheeler manufacturers managed to sell more than 11.95 lakh units of two-wheelers in June 2023. This shows the sheer size of the two-wheeler market in India and we expect these figures to go up again ahead of the festive season in the country.
