Hero Splendor (2,38,340 Units)

Hero Motocorp managed to sell 2,38,340 units of the Splendor motorcycle in the month of June 2023, which is more than half of the company's entire sales in the same month. Despite these strong sales figures, YoY sales figures for the model dipped by more than 12 per cent.

Honda Shine (1,31,920 Units)

Honda Shine continues to be a very strong performer for Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI). In June 2023, the company managed to sell 1,31,920 units of the Honda Shine motorcycle in the country and registered an YoY sales growth of 4.74 per cent.

Bajaj Pulsar (1,07,208 Units)

The Bajaj Pulsar continues to be the most popular motorcycle model for the company in India. Furthermore, the company managed to register an YoY sales growth of more than 28 per cent by managing to sell 1,07,208 units of the Pulsar motorcycles in June 2023.

Hero HF Deluxe (89,275 Units)

The Hero HF Deluxe is the fourth best-selling motorcycle in India for the month of June 2023. The company even managed to sell a very respectable 89,275 units of HF Deluxe motorcycles but YoY sales for the model dipped by a staggering 21 per cent.

Hero Passion (47,554 Units)

Hero Motocorp recently revamped the Passion motorcycle range and the company managed to register an YoY sales increase of more than 156 per cent for the model in June 2023. In terms of numbers, the company sold 47,554 units of Passion motorcycles.

Looking at the top 5 motorcycle list, it becomes clear that Hero Splendor is the main reason behind the dominance of Hero MotoCorp in the Indian two-wheeler industry. This is not very positive for a manufacturer as a majority of its revenue is dependent on just one model.
