In June 2023, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) managed to sell 50,001 units of its cars. Though a distant second to Maruti Suzuki, it still commands a respectable market share of 15.2 per cent with an YoY sales increase of more than 2 per cent.

Tata (47,235 Units)

Tata Motors is coming very close to overtaking Hyundai in terms of overall sales figures. In June 2023, Tata Motors even managed to sell a staggering 47,235 units of its cars. This strong sales performance has resulted in a YoY sales growth of more than 4.5 per cent.

Mahindra (32,588 Units)

Mahindra continues to be a strong and consistent performer in the Indian automotive industry. In June 2023, the company even managed to sell 32,588 units of its cars. This strong sales performance has resulted in a YoY sales increase of more than 21.2 per cent.

Toyota (19,608 Units)

Toyota managed to secure the last spot on this top 5 list after it managed to sell 19,608 units of its cars in June 2023. In fact, the Japanese automaker even managed to register a YoY sales increment of almost 6 per cent.
