The Mahindra Scorpio has a strong fan base in India and it reflects in its sales figures as the company managed to sell 4,348 units of Scorpio SUVs in May 2022 despite the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N less than a month away from its launch.

Thanks to its strong fan base, YoY sales figures have improved after the pandemic with 144 per cent growth. In comparison, the company managed to sell just 1,782 units in May 2022.

Toyota Innova Crysta (2,737 units)

Toyota Innova Crysta is a default choice for many Indian buyers looking for a spacious car. In May 2022, Toyota sold 2,737 units of Innova Crysta MUVs in India.

As a result, the YoY sales performance for the Toyota Innova Crysta improved by more than 13,585 per cent as the company managed to sell just 20 units in May 2022.

Tata Safari (2,242 units)

The Hyundai Alcazar is the 7-seater version of the Hyundai Creta. Despite being a new SUV, the SUV has been performing well in the Indian market.

Though the Hyundai Creta is among the best selling cars in India, the 7-seater version of the SUV has not been able to replicate a similar level of success as the company managed to sell just 1,947 units in May 2022 with YoY sales growth of 43 per cent.
