Tesla Cybertruck Production Commences – Deliveries To Start From 2024

Tesla managed to gain a tremendous amount of attention when it revealed the upcoming Tesla Cybertruck to the world back in 2019. The unusual design language of the Cybertruck immediately caught everyone's attention including top celebrities.

However, despite gaining the attention of the public, the production of the Tesla Cybertruck did not commence until now. In fact, Tesla has already commenced the production of the alpha variant of the Tesla Cybertruck.

Though test mules of the Tesla Cybertruck have been spotted on numerous occasions, the EV maker was yet to install any large-scale production equipment in the factory to produce the Tesla Cybertruck on a production-level scale.

Earlier, Elon Musk had said that the production of the Tesla Cybertruck will commence in September 2023. Now, the latest drone footages of the Tesla factory reveal that the company has installed all the necessary equipment needed to manufacture the Tesla Cybertruck.

Coming to the specifications, the Tesla Cybertruck is expected to come in single, dual, tri and quad motor setups. Though the exact specifications of these models are yet to be revealed, the quad setup variant is expected to hit 100km/h in under 2.5 seconds and tow up to 6.8 tonnes.

That being said, though the Tesla Cybertruck may not have many rivals at the time of its unveiling, the market for electric pickup trucks has become a lot more competitive. Some of the noteworthy competitors include Rivian R1T, Ford F-150 Lightning, and GMC Hummer EV.

That being said, we expect the Tesla Cybertruck to do exceptionally well in the international markets including the USA. Furthermore, we also expect the model to come with plenty of features including very advanced autonomous driving tech.

Thoughts About The Tesla Cybertruck

As the production of the Tesla Cybertruck commences in the US, we expect the deliveries of the model to commence from 2024 onwards. However, we are not sure if the demand for the model will be as high as the EV maker's prediction. We expect this reduced demand to be the result of increased competition.
