Royal Enfield's 650 twins' sales skyrocketed in April 2022 and we might see a repeat of the same for the month of May 2022 as well. This is 67 percent higher than the cumulative sales figure for both models in April 2021.

Safe to say, we're heading away from the pandemic and the economic downturn induced by it. The sales numbers being clocked by the 650 twins stand witness to this. In March 2022, Royal Enfield sold 1,226 units of the 650 twins and the number nearly doubled in April 2022 with the brand selling 2,159 units.

This could be attributed to the increase in demand for premium motorcycles and also to an increase in disposable income. Adding to it all is the fact that they still remain the most affordable 650cc motorcycles in the country. Prices for the Interceptor 650 start at Rs 2.88 lakh and go up to Rs 3.14 lakh. The Continental GT 650 on the other hand retails between Rs 3.05 lakh and Rs 3.31 lakh.

Thoughts On Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650 Sales Increasing By 67 Percent

A 67 percent increase is massive even if the COVID-19-induced curfews in 2021 are taken into account. We believe there is a surge in demand for the 650 twins and the same will reflect in the sales numbers for May 2022 as well.
