Ola Electric CEO Teases New Product – Dubs It End Of Conventional Scooters

Ola Electric quickly gained traction in the Indian electric scooter market with the launch of the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter. In fact, Ola Electric is currently the largest electric scooter manufacturer in India.

That being said, Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric teased the upcoming product of Ola Electric via Twitter. He tweeted "Announcing our next product event in July. Calling it the #endICEAge show, Part 1!" Additionally, Aggarwal also shared an image with the heading "END ICE AGE".

"Part 1 of the show would end ICE age in scooters! With S1 Pro, S1 Air and ... XXXX And maybe one more thing!" He added in his tweet. Hinting that the new product scheduled to be revealed in July will be sold alongside the existing range of Ola electric scooters.

Furthermore, the teaser image shared by Aggarwal also hints that the new product from Ola Electric is more likely to be a new variant of the Ola S1 range of electric scooters. If correct, we expect Ola Electric to appeal to a wider range of audience in the country.

Along with the reveal of the new product from Ola Electric, we also expect Ola Electric to reveal more details regarding the much-hyped Ola electric car. Additionally, we also expect the company to roll out the MoveOS 4 for its existing customers as well.

In terms of numbers, Ola Electric managed to sell 28,469 units of the Ola S1 range of electric scooters in May 2023. These numbers make the Ola S1 range of electric scooters the fourth best-selling scooter range behind the likes of Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter and Suzuki Access.
