Mercedes-Benz has commenced the bookings for the upcoming next-generation GLC SUV in India. Furthermore, the token amount for booking the next-generation Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV has been capped at Rs 1,50,000.

Interested buyers can book the upcoming next-generation Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV either through the German automaker's official website or any authorised dealerships across the country. Also, the model is expected to be launched on 9th August.

Speaking about the next-generation Mercedes-Benz GLC, this upcoming German SUV will be available in two variants - GLC 300 4MATIC, and GLC 220d 4MATIC. This means both the variants will come equipped with the automaker's famed '4MATIC' all-wheel-drive system.

Thanks to this advanced all-wheel-drive system, the upcoming new Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV will not only have improved off-road capability but also have better traction under all weather conditions. Also, both the variants on offer will come equipped with a 9-speed automatic gearbox as well.

It is also worth mentioning that all engine options in the upcoming next-generation Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV will be equipped with ISG. This system is expected to improve the overall fuel efficiency of this new SUV, especially in stop-and-go traffic conditions.

Noticeable features in the next-generation Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV include a large 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a head-up display, a 15-speaker Burmester audio system, a panoramic sunroof, and many more.

In terms of size, the upcoming next-generation Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV measures 4,716mm long, 2,075mm wide, and 1,650mm tall. Furthermore, the wheelbase of the upcoming model stands at 2,888mm.

This means the next-generation Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV is 60mm longer, 21mm narrower, and 4mm lower than the outgoing model. We also expect the upcoming model to have better space in the 2nd row, thanks to its 15mm longer wheelbase.
