According to the 30-second teaser video, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara All-Grip SUV comes with 4 different modes - Auto, Sport, Snow, and Lock. The last two options are likely to provide maximum traction on off-road surfaces.

Earlier, a few teasers from Maruti Suzuki had revealed features such as LED headlights, LED tail lamps, and a panoramic sunroof.

It is also worth mentioning that the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV is also co-developed by Toyota, and Toyota's iteration of the model is codenamed D22 and the model has already been revealed in India as Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV.

As a result, many details of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara are already well known as both of these SUVs will be manufactured by Toyota at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bidadi, Karnataka.

When launched, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will rival the likes of other C-segment SUVs in the segment such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

Starting with the most-awaited engine option, the strong hybrid powertrain is a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally-aspirated Atkinson cycle petrol engine. This engine produces a total of 114.5bhp of peak power and uses an eCVT gearbox.

On the other hand, the mild-hybrid powertrain is a 1.5-litre unit with 101.6bhp of peak power and this engine can be specified with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Moreover, this powertrain is the one that comes with Suzuki's famous All-Grip all-wheel-drive system.

Expected features on the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV include a large 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 360-degree surround-view camera, cooled glove box, rear AC vents, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, heads-up display, an electric sunroof, and many more.

According to Maruti Suzuki, the upcoming Grand Vitara SUV is scheduled to be unveiled on July 20. However, we are not sure if the prices of all variants will be revealed on the same day.
