Mahindra Updates Offer On XUV300: Benefits Up To Rs 46,000

This latest offer on the Mahindra XUV300 SUV is likely to further boost the sales of the sub-4m SUV in the Indian market.

This new offer will be very essential as the prices of the XUV300 was recently hiked and the starting price of the XUV300 SUV now starts from Rs 8.41 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the base 'W4' trim level equipped with petrol engine and manual transmission.

In comparison, the top-of-the-line 'W8 (O) Dual-Tone' variant of the Mahindra XUV300 equipped with the diesel engine and AMT gearbox is now priced at Rs 14.07 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Speaking about the Mahindra XUV300, the sub-4m SUV is currently one of the safest sub-4m SUVs you can buy in the country with a 5-star safety rating from Global-NCAP for adult occupant protection.

Sometime back, the Mahindra XUV300 SUV received a minor facelift to make the model a bit more contemporary in the Indian market. Though the facelift was just a minor one, it was essential as the SUV was launched way back in 2019.

However, with the update, Mahindra reduced the size of the alloy wheels offered with the top-end W8 and W8(O) variants of the Mahindra XUV300 SUV. This means the top-end W8 variant of the 2022 iteration of the Mahindra XUV300 is no longer equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels.

In addition to reducing the size of the alloy wheels, the width of the tyres has been also reduced from 215mm to 205mm.

Though these changes may seem like a downgrade, the updated tyre size suits the Indian driving conditions better and may have positively impacted the fuel economy of the sub-4m SUV.

In terms of features, the Mahindra XUV300 comes equipped with features such as a large 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, rain-sensing wipers, auto climate control, electric sunroof, connected car tech, and much more.

The Mahindra XUV300 SUV also comes with top-level safety systems such as 7 airbags, ABS, corner braking control, EBD, Traction Control (TC), and front and rear parking sensors.

The Mahindra XUV300 comes with a choice of two engine options. The petrol unit is a 1.2-litre turbocharged unit with 109bhp of power and 200Nm of torque, whereas the diesel powertrain is a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit with 115bhp of power and 300Nm of torque. Also, both these engines can be specified with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox.
