Mahindra Scorpio N AT & 4X4 Prices Start From Rs 15.45 Lakh

Starting with the six-seater variants, these variants command a premium of Rs 20,000 over their respective seven-seater variants. On the other hand, the automatic variants and 4x4 variants are somewhat costlier as these variants are priced at a premium of Rs 1.96 lakh and Rs 2.45 lakh, respectively.

As revealed earlier by Mahindra, only the first 25,000 customers of the Mahindra Scorpio N will be eligible to avail the introductory prices. Moreover, customers who have already booked the Scorpio N SUV can edit their choices from July 30 to August 15.

Also, it is worth mentioning that the test drive for the new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV has already commenced in 30 cities. However, we expect test drive vehicles to soon reach other cities as well once the production capacity is improved.

Speaking about the production, though Mahindra is able to produce around 6,000 units of Mahindra XUV700 SUVs in India, the automaker is planning to roll out 20,000 units of Scorpio N SUVs in India by the end of this year to meet the demand.

At present, the Mahindra Scorpio N is available in 7 different colour options, this includes Dazzling Silver, Everest White, Napoli Black, Grand Canyon, Royal Gold, Red Rage, and Deep Forest.

Speaking about the powertrain, the Mahindra Scorpio N comes with one petrol engine and one diesel engine. Unlike the petrol unit, the diesel engine is available in two states of tune. The diesel engine is a 2.2-litre turbocharged unit and the base variant pushes out 130bhp of peak power and 300Nm of peak torque.

On the other hand, the more powerful diesel engine produces 172.6bhp of peak power and 370Nm of peak torque. However, the torque output is increased to 400Nm when this engine is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Finally, the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine puts out 200bhp of peak and 370Nm of torque, but torque goes up by another 10mm when paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
