Hyundai Reveals Reclining Rear Seats On The Upcoming New 2022 Venue SUV

The new video featuring the upcoming new 2022 Hyundai Venue SUV is 15-seconds long and emphasizes the comfort offered by the reclining rear seats.

Recently, the brochure of the upcoming 2022 Hyundai Venue was also leaked online and revealed a lot of information and features about the sub-4m SUV.

According to the brochure, the 2022 iteration of the Hyundai Venue SUV will come with three engine options, out of which one engine option is a diesel unit. This powertrain lineup is very similar to the outgoing model of the Hyundai Venue SUV.

As per the brochure, the base powertrain option continues to be the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine with 81.8bhp of power and 114Nm of peak torque.

On the other hand, the sole diesel powertrain option is a 1.5-litre unit capable of producing 98.6bhp of peak power and 240Nm of peak torque. Finally, the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces 118.4bhp of peak power and 172Nm of peak torque.

In addition to these three engine options, Hyundai also equips the upcoming Venue SUV with three gearbox options as well. However, only the top-of-the-line 1.0-litre turbo-petrol variant gets the iMT and DCT gearbox options as others get a more traditional manual transmission.

Apart from that, the leaked brochure reveals that the upcoming new Hyundai Venue SUV will be offered in 6 different trim levels and 7 different colour options including one dual-tone paint option as well.

Though the reclining rear seats on the 2022 iteration of the Hyundai Venue SUV is a very luring and useful feature, the SUV also comes with features such as a fully digital instrument cluster, drive modes, Home to Car function with Alexa and Google Assitant, 60+ BlueLink connected car features, 10 regional language infotainment unit menu and much more.

We also expect a few more features such as a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, ventilated front seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, cooled glove box and electric sunroof to make their way to the new model.

Other than this, the upcoming new Hyundai Venue gets a revised front bumper, a pair of new LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, a set of new alloy wheels, a slightly different, more prominent-looking roof rail, new LED tail lamps, a new rear bumper and much more.

As expected of any facelifted version, the upcoming facelifted iteration of the 2022 Hyundai Venue SUV features many changes to its exterior and interior design. This will help Hyundai improve sales by attracting more customers and further improve its market share in the Indian automobile market.

At present, the outgoing iteration of the Hyundai Venue SUV range starts from Rs 7.11 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and we expect a marginal increase in pricing for the upcoming facelifted version of the SUV.
