First-Aid Kit 

All new cars come with a first-aid kit. However, many people do not update it as time goes by. You never know when you might require it. You should keep your first-aid kit updated.  

Fire extinguisher 

A fire extinguisher can mean increased safety for you and your car. Many people believe that a fire extinguisher is only required if you have a CNG car. But that's not true. Any vehicle with fuel requires a fire extinguisher because there can be a short circuit. Replace the extinguisher with a new one on expiry and always keep one in your car in case of emergency. 

Flashlight 

Car issues don't only happen during the day, but can even occur at night. That is the time when you would require a flashlight. It is a fundamental tool, and your phone's flashlight won't cut it. Looking under the hood becomes easier at night when you have a flashlight.  

Tyre inflator 

We all have a spare tyre in our cars, but how often do we get the tyre pressure checked? Having a tyre inflator in your vehicle can be a lifesaver if your tyre pressure drops. It might also help you when you use your spare tyre and it has low tyre pressure. 

Scissors and duct tape

Duct tape is a highly underrated item, but you should always have it in your car. You can temporarily fix the hanging wires, broken bumpers, benders, hoses, and fenders before reaching your nearest car mechanic. Ensure that the duct tape you choose is of high quality. 

Jumper cables

Jumper cables are great in case you get stuck. Many of us never keep track of when we replaced our car's battery. Your battery might become weak, and your car might break down due to this. Having jumper cables can let you charge your battery with the help of someone else, and you can quickly start your car.

Tow strap 

Another essential item that can help you if you are stranded is a tow strap. You might get stuck on the road and need to tow your vehicle to take it to the nearest car mechanic. In such a case, a tow strap can be a boon. You can ask someone else for help and tow your car.
