Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Kit Launched In India For Rs 46,000

This Rally Kit from Hero MotorCorp for the Xpulse 200 4V motorcycle includes uprated hardware such as pre-load adjustable cartridge-style front fork with 250mm wheel travel, pre-load adjustable rear mono-shock with 220mm wheel travel, longer rear stand to cope with the 275mm ground clearance, taller bench-style seat, handlebar raisers, extended gear level and a pair of block-pattern Maxxis off-road tyres.

In comparison, the front and rear suspensions on the standard motorcycle comprises of a 190mm travel telescopic front suspension and a 10-step pre-load adjustable rear mono-shock with 170mm wheel travel.

It is also worth mentioning that the Rally Kit offered by Hero MotoCorp does not come with any upgrades to the powertrain. However, at Rs 46,000, the Rally Kit offers tremendous value for money considering the way the kit can transform the motorcycle.

Speaking about the Hero Xpulse 200, Hero MotoCorp claims that the motorcycle is the country's first 200cc adventure motorcycle. Apart from that, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V is powered by a BS-VI, 200cc, 4-valve, oil-cooled engine.

This engine according to Hero MotorCorp puts out 6% more power and 5% more torque than the standard Hero Xpulse 200 motorcycle for even more relaxed and stress-free ride at higher speeds.

In terms of numbers, Hero Xpulse 200 4V produces 18.83bhp of peak power at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Moreover, this engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox with optimised gear ratios.

Also, the fuel tank capacity of the Hero Xpulse 200 4V motorcycle stands at 13 litres and the front rims are 21-inch units shod with 90/90 tyres, whereas the rear tyre size stands at 120/80-18.

In terms of braking hardware, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V uses a 276mm petal disc brake at the front and a 220mm petal disc brake at the rear.

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V was priced at Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) at the time of the launch. However, the motorcycle is now priced at Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Despite the price hike, the motorcycle still offers tremendous value for money.
