Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition Launched At Rs 1.52 Lakh - Time To Hit The Trails

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition will be produced in limited numbers. Bookings for the new Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition will start on Hero's eShop platform at noon on the 22nd of July and will continue till the same time on the 29th of July.

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition continues to be powered by a 199.6cc, oil-cooled engine that produces 18.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Hero claims the new Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition is inspired by the Hero Motorsports Rally motorcycle used in rallies like the Dakar. Hero has upgraded the suspension setup of the Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition compared to the regular bike.

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition features a taller and fully-adjustable cartridge front suspension setup with 250mm travel and a fully-adjustable 10-step rear suspension with 220mm travel.

The limited-run bike offers 270mm of ground clearance and its seat sits 885mm above the ground. The Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition's trail has been extended to 116mm while its wheelbase measures 1,426mm which is 16mm more than the standard Xpulse 200 4V. The Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition weighs in at just 160 kilogrammes.

The Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition rides on 21-inch (front) and 18-inch (rear) spoked wheels that are shod with dual-purpose tyres.

Hero hasn't messed around with the design of the Xpulse 200 4V for the new Rally Edition. The bike gets exclusive rally code graphics and also features the autograph of C S Santosh, India's best-known rally rider who also races for Hero Motorsports.

The bike gets LED headlights and tail light, an upswept exhaust, an aluminium skid plate to protect the engine, a toothed brake pedal for maximum grip and control and an extended gear lever and a longer side stand.

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition also features a LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and call alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, gear indicator, Eco Mode and two Trip meters and Single Channel ABS as standard.
