Fresh Look For Benelli TRK 502 & TRK 502X Amidst Price Hike - Details Inside

Benelli is an iconic Italian motorcycle brand that has a huge fan following in the Indian biking community. Benelli offers premium motorcycles with its sleek designs, powerful engines, and adrenaline-pumping performance.

Recently, Benelli has hiked the prices of their entry level adventure touring motorcycles, TRK 502 and TRK 502X in the country. Both bikes are now more expensive than before by Rs 25,000.

As of now, the 2023 Benelli TRK 502 is priced at 5.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Benelli TRK 502X is priced at Rs 6.35 lakh (ex-showroom,Delhi).

Post BS6 update, most motorcycle companies increased their prices. Notably, the prices for the TRK 502 range have gone up by almost one lakh rupees since the update. When the bike was initially launched, it was priced at Rs 4.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Both the adventure tourers are powered by a 500cc parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 47bhp of power and 46Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is paired with a
6-speed gearbox.

The TRK 502 range is brought to the country as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit and Hyderabad based Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) locally assembles the motorcycles and retails the model nationwide.

Despite the price increase, there are no changes to the specifications of the Benelli TRK 502 and TRK 502X adventure motorcycles. However, both of the models now offer new colour options.

The 2023 Benelli TRK 502 is available in Grey, White, and the newly introduced Black and Forest Green colours. On the other hand, the 2023 Benelli TRK 502X comes in Grey, White, Yellow, and the fresh Forest Green shade.

In terms of equipment, the TRK range gets crash guards and knuckle guards as standard, a tall windscreen, rear pannier mount brackets, an adjustable handlebar, wide seats for the rider and pillion, as well as backlit switchgear, engine heat air ducts, a 20-litre fuel tank, engine bash plate and more.

The new colour option does make the bikes look stunning, and it will definitely give potential customers more options to choose from. But the lack of technical upgrades even with the huge price hike, is pretty off move from the bike maker.
