EVeium Cosmo, Comet & Czar e-Scooters Launched In India - Prices Start At Rs 1.44 Lakh

EVeium is the recently launched electric vehicle brand of Eleysium Automotives, the automotive arm of META4, a company based in the United Arab Emirates.

EVeium classifies all three newly launched electric vehicles - Cosmo, Comet and Czar - as high-speed scooters. The Cosmo is priced at Rs 1.44 lakhs, the Comet commands a price tag of Rs 1.92 lakh and the Czar costs Rs 2.16 lakh.

The EVeium Cosmo is the entry-level offering from the Hyderabad-based electric vehicle marque. The Cosmo uses a 72V, 30Ah (2.16kWh) lithium-ion battery pack which EVeium claims gives the high-speed scooter a range of 80 kilometres on a single charge. A 2,000-watt (2.72bhp) electric motor propels the Cosmo to a claimed top speed of 65km/h. The EVeium Cosmo is offered in 6 colour options - White, Grey, Blue, Lemon Yellow, Cherry Red and Bright Black.

The second offering from EVeium - Comet - is powered by a larger 72V and 50ah (3.6kWh) Li-ion battery which delivers a range of 150 kilometres on a single charge. The battery pack powers a 3000-watt (4.02bhp) electric motor that propels the Comet to a top speed of 85km/h. The Comet is offered in 6 colour options - Shiny Black, Matt Black, Wine Red, White, Royal Blue and Beige.

The final EVeium offering is the Czar which is powered by a 3.02kWh battery pack which delivers a range of 150 kilometres on a single charge. The Czar features a more powerful 5.36bhp electric motor that allows the e-scooter to hit a top speed of 85km/h. There are 6 different colour options for the Czar - Glossy Black, Matt Black, Glossy Red, Light Blue, Mint Green, and White.

All three EVeium electric scooters are offered with multiple riding modes - Eco, Normal and Sport, keyless start, regen braking, an LCD display with smartphone connectivity, geo-fencing and over-speeding alert among others. All three electric scooters can recharge their battery packs in 4 hours. The Comet and Czar also offer a reverse gear feature.
