After a long wait, the much-awaited motorcycle from the Bajaj-Triumph partnership will be unveiled today in London. When launched, we expect this upcoming motorcycle to compete against the likes of 300-400cc motorcycles in India.

This upcoming Bajaj-Triumph motorcycle is said to have been developed by Triumph's R&D division in the UK, but the production will be taken care of by Bajaj. This will positively impact the pricing of the motorcycle as well as ensures easy availability of spare parts.

Though details regarding the upcoming Bajaj-Triumph motorcycle are yet to be revealed, we expect the engine capacity of this motorcycle to be anywhere between 300cc to 400cc. This will ensure the motorcycle is powerful enough to take long journeys at the same time practical enough for daily commutes.

It is also worth mentioning that, the powertrain in the upcoming Bajaj-Triumph motorcycle will be a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Moreover, this engine is likely to come equipped with a 6-speed gearbox with Slip and Assist clutch.

Design-wise, the Bajaj-Triumph motorcycle sports a neo-retro theme with its 'tear-drop' shaped fuel tank with tank pads, round LED headlamps, LED turn indicators, rear-view mirrors and a minimalist tail section with LED tail lamps. This is further complemented by plenty of 'Triumph' elements such as the triangular engine casing.

While a few different prototypes have been spied, all of these test mules come equipped with USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Furthermore, the prototypes also come equipped with front and rear disc brakes as well.

That being said, a more off-road-focused scrambler variant of the Bajaj-Triumph motorcycle has also been spied testing plenty of times. This variant is usually spotted with dual-purpose tyres, knuckle guards and a small transparent windscreen above the headlamp.

In terms of pricing, we expect the upcoming Bajaj Triumph motorcycle to carry a price tag of approximately Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3.00 lakh, ex-showroom. This will ensure the motorcycle treads a fine path between 'Premium' and 'Affordable'.

Thoughts About The Bajaj-Triumph Motorcycle

The upcoming Bajaj-Triumph motorcycle is among the most-awaited motorcycles in the Indian two-wheeler market. We expect the motorcycle to become a hit among the Indian audience if Bajaj prices the motorcycle aggressively.
