Honda has revealed the CB300R that is set to release in 2024. The CB300R will come to India either later this year or sometime early next year. Honda added a couple of new colour schemes: Pearl Dusk Yellow and Matte Black Metallic.

The Pearl Dusk Yellow variant of the Honda CB300R comes with gold USD forks, whereas the Matte Black Metallic variant gets black USD forks. The Yellow CB300R gets alloy wheels with a dull copper shade, while the Black CB300R gets black alloy wheels.

The 2024 Honda CB300R is powered by the same engine as its predecessor - a 286cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 30.28bhp and 27.5Nm of peak torque. Power is distributed through a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. The tyres that will be used on the 2024 Honda CB300R are 17-inch rubbers; 110/70 in the front and 150/60 at the rear.

The front USD forks of the Honda CB300R have a 41mm girth and 130mm of travel, while in the rear, there is a Pro-Link single shock absorber with 132mm of travel. Looking at the brakes, the front disc brake is a 296mm disc and at the back, we have a 220mm disc. Honda is incorporating the use of petal disc brakes and an option of dual-channel ABS to up the safety features.

Coming to the feature front of things, the Honda CB300R maintains its LCD instrument cluster which shows the RPM, Speed, Gear Position, fuel level, and an all-LED option as well.

Currently, the Honda CB300R sold in the markets is at a price of Rs. 2.77 Lakh (Ex-Showroom), but prices will most likely increase once the new CB300R launches. Motorcycles that this could go up against are the TVS Apache RR310, Bajaj Dominar 400, KTM Duke 390, and BMW G310R.

Thoughts On The 2024 Honda CB300R

The 2024 Honda CB300R retains a lot of the features of the previous-gen CB300R but comes with two new colour schemes. This adds a bit of uniqueness to the bike as Honda has tried to do something different, even if it's just the colours. A small upgrade in power figures or ride-feel would have been a nice thing to see on the 2024 Honda CB300R.
