2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Launched In India At Rs 3.03 Lakh – Alloy Wheels, LED Headlamps & More

Royal Enfield has launched the new 2023 Interceptor 650 motorcycle in India at Rs 3.03 lakh (ex-showroom). This latest version of the twin-cylinder motorcycle now comes with a few new features to keep up with the times.

Starting with the changes, the 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorcycle now comes with LED headlight unit and switchgear from the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 motorcycle, a set of new alloy wheels and new colour options.

Speaking of colour options, the newly launched 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorcycle can be specified in two blacked-out variants with shades - Black Ray, and Barcelona Blue. Other two new colour options include Black Pearl, and Cali Green.

It is also worth mentioning that the blacked-out variants of the 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 sport alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. Speaking of tyres, the 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 comes shod with Ceat Zoom Cruz tyres instead of Vredestein tyres on the 2023 Continental GT 650.

Other noticeable change on the 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorcycle comes in the form of a very handy company-fitted USB charging port. In addition to that, this charging port is conveniently placed on the left side of the handlebar.

The 2023 Interceptor 650 motorcycle gets an uprated powertrain that is now compatible with the upcoming emission regulations. However, the basic configuration remains the same with its 648cc, parallel-twin engine putting out 47.5bhp of power and 52Nm of torque. Also, the motorcycle gets Slip and Assist clutch with 6-speed gearbox.

It is also worth mentioning that the alloy wheel-equipped variant of the 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorcycle is priced at Rs 3.21 lakh (ex-showroom, India), whereas the top-spec Mark 2 variant with chrome fuel tank and spoked wheels cost Rs 10,000 more.
