2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Model Deliveries Commence – Check Out All Details

Kia India recently launched the facelifted version of the Seltos SUV. Now, the South Korean car maker has already commenced the deliveries of the facelifted Seltos SUV in the country.

Speaking about the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift, the model is offered in 18 variants. These variants consist of 3 engine options and 5 transmission options. That being said, prices for the facelifted version of the Kia Seltos SUV range between Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 19.99 lakh, ex-showroom.

In terms of design, the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift follows an evolutionary design theme. However, the facelifted model looks very youthful with its sporty design elements. Furthermore, the interior of the updated model looks a lot more high-tech with its new dual-screen layout.

One of the biggest talking points about the Kia Seltos facelift is that the model now comes equipped with Level-2 ADAS tech. This technology includes active safety features such as auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and more.

In addition to these active safety features, the facelifted model also comes with other conventional safety systems such as 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, TC, vehicle stability management (VSM), ISOFIX anchoring points, 360-degree surround-view camera, parking sensors, hill-hold assist, hill descent control, and more.

It is also worth mentioning that the Seltos SUV is known for its feature-loaded interior and the facelifted model is no different. In fact, the updated model comes with an even longer list of features than the model it replaced.

Some of the noticeable features in the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift include twin 10.25-inch screens (One for the infotainment and the other for instrumentation), connected car tech, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a large 8-inch heads-up display, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and more.

Coming to the powertrain, the base engine option continues to be the 1.5-litre, naturally-spirated, petrol engine with 113bhp and 144Nm of peak torque. This engine can be specified with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT unit.

Also, the 1.5-litre, turbocharged, diesel engine continues to make its presence felt in the facelifted model as well. This powertrain produces 114bhp and 250Nm of torque, and can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic unit.

Finally, the newly introduced 1.5-litre, turbocharged, petrol engine replaces the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine. This new engine produces a healthy 158bhp and 253Nm of peak torque. This powertrain is offered with either a 6-speed iMT unit or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

It is also worth mentioning that the South Korean automaker recently revealed the fuel efficiency figures of the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift. Surprisingly, the new turbocharged petrol engine is more fuel efficient than the naturally-aspirated petrol engine.
